New hope for IVF: blood plasma treatment tested to help embryos stick
NCT ID NCT07306871
Summary
This study is testing whether a treatment made from a woman's own blood (platelet-rich plasma) can help embryos implant successfully in the uterus after previous IVF failures. Researchers are comparing two different ways of delivering the plasma—one injected into the uterine lining and one infused into the uterus—against standard IVF preparation. The goal is to see which method, if any, improves pregnancy rates for women who have had multiple unsuccessful embryo transfers.
