First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a single injection of platelet-poor plasma (PPP) can help athletes recover from muscle injuries better than standard treatment. About 90 athletes aged 18-45 with leg muscle strains will receive either PPP plus standard care or standard care alone. The goal is to see if PPP reduces scar tissue and improves muscle regrowth over six months.
