Can Plant-Based protein drinks replace dairy in hospitals? a new study aims to find out

Summary
This study tests whether it's possible to run a larger trial comparing plant-based and animal-based nutritional drinks for hospital patients at risk of malnutrition. About 60 adults from two Dutch hospitals will be randomly assigned to drink either a soy-based or milk-based supplement for three months. Researchers will track how many patients join, stay, and follow the drink plan, as well as measure nutrition and health outcomes.
