First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a plant-focused diet can help malnourished adults on peritoneal dialysis (a type of kidney treatment) improve their nutrition and overall health. About 100 participants will be randomly assigned to either a plant-focused diet or a standard kidney diet and followed for 6 months. Researchers will track changes in blood tests, weight, and quality of life to see which diet works better.
