Scientists investigate cell death in placental disorders
NCT ID NCT06779916
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at how cells in the placenta die or clean themselves in women with pregnancy complications like preeclampsia or poor fetal growth. Researchers will compare these processes in 50 pregnant women to find new ways to screen for and manage these risks. The goal is to better understand the root causes, not to test a treatment.
