Summary
This study tested two common diabetes medications, pioglitazone and metformin, in 60 women with insulin-resistant PCOS. Participants took one of the drugs for three months to see which better improved insulin resistance, waist-to-hip ratio, and hormone levels. The goal was to find a more effective way to manage PCOS symptoms.
