Summary
This study tested two medications, pioglitazone and metformin, in 60 women with PCOS and insulin resistance. Participants took one of the drugs for 3 months to see which better improved insulin levels, waist-to-hip ratio, and hormone markers. The goal was to find a more effective way to manage PCOS symptoms.
