Pilates or gym: which eases period pain best?
NCT ID NCT07669883
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether Pilates or gym exercises better relieve pain from primary dysmenorrhea (period pain) in young women aged 17-25. Fifty-two participants will do either Pilates or gym workouts three times a week for three months. Researchers will measure pain intensity, symptom severity, and quality of life to see which approach works best.
