First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study aims to find out why some people who have been in the intensive care unit (ICU) do not attend their follow-up appointments. Researchers will look at the medical records of 2,500 patients to see who came to their first post-ICU checkup and who didn't. The goal is to learn what factors influence attendance so that hospitals can improve how they invite and support patients after a serious illness.
