First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a flaxseed supplement can change certain gene activity and ease premenstrual syndrome (PMS) in women aged 40-55 who are near menopause. About 70 healthy women in Jordan will take either the supplement or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if these plant-based compounds affect hormone-related genes and reduce PMS symptoms.
