First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tested a year-long online program to help adults aged 40-70 who are at risk for heart disease become more active. Participants received a fitness tracker, online coaching, and educational sessions. The goal was to see if this approach could increase daily steps and help people meet physical activity goals, compared to just getting a tracker and standard advice.
