New radiation approach targets cancer in brain and spine fluid

Summary

This study tests a type of radiation therapy (craniospinal irradiation) for people with breast or lung cancer that has spread to the fluid and lining around the brain and spinal cord. The goal is to see if this treatment can help control the disease in the central nervous system. About 35 adults with good physical function are being enrolled.
