New CT scanner could spot hidden liver tumors better than ever

Summary
This study compares a new type of CT scanner (photon-counting CT) to MRI for finding liver tumors that have spread from colorectal cancer. About 100 adults with colorectal cancer will get both scans, and researchers will check if the new CT is as good as MRI at spotting these tumors. If successful, it could offer a faster, lower-radiation way to detect liver metastases and help guide treatment.
