Can a yellow phone screen save your eyes?

NCT ID NCT07340359

Summary

This study tested whether a special yellow-light, anti-glare phone screen could reduce eye strain and dry eye symptoms caused by prolonged reading in dim light. Seventy volunteers with normal vision read e-books for two hours on phones with either the special screen or a standard screen. Researchers measured symptoms like dryness and visual fatigue before and after to see if the special screen offered any protection.
