New 'Smart Bomb' cancer drug enters first human trials

Summary
This is the first study in people to test a new experimental cancer drug called PHN-012. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if the drug can shrink tumors in patients with advanced colon, lung, or pancreatic cancer who have already tried other treatments. The drug is designed to deliver a powerful chemotherapy agent directly to cancer cells while sparing healthy ones.
