Summary
This study tested whether a drug called sodium phenylbutyrate could reduce a specific protein (Lcn2) in the urine of people with chronic kidney disease and proteinuria. 26 participants took the drug to see if it lowered their protein levels. The goal was to find a new way to manage kidney damage.
