Summary

This study tested whether pharmacists can help older adults with atrial fibrillation (AF) take the right blood thinners to prevent strokes. Fourteen people aged 60 and older with AF and stroke risks took part. Pharmacists managed their medications for 3 months, and the team checked if they got the right treatment and stuck with it.
