Summary

This small pilot study tested whether a special PET scan could detect early, symptom-free heart inflammation caused by immune checkpoint inhibitor cancer drugs. Only 2 people took part before the study ended. The goal was to see if this imaging method could identify hidden heart problems that might later become severe.
