First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests a special PET probe called [68Ga]CBP8 to see if it can detect tissue damage caused by radiation therapy in people with lung or pancreatic cancer. About 72 participants will get a PET scan before and 3-6 months after radiation. The goal is to find early signs of radiation fibrosis, which could help doctors manage side effects better.
