This study tested whether a special PET/MRI scan using a tracer called FFNP can accurately measure progesterone receptors in invasive breast cancer. 21 women with biopsy-proven breast cancer underwent the scan, and researchers compared the results to standard lab tests. The goal is to see if this imaging method can reliably assess hormone receptor status, potentially reducing the need for invasive biopsies in the future.
