First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether a personalized surgical approach, guided by a sleep endoscopy, works better than standard tonsillectomy for children aged 2-17 with sleep apnea and small tonsils. About 240 children will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgeries. The goal is to see which method improves sleep breathing and quality of life more after 6 months.
