Teen injury prevention gets personal: new study tailors exercise to biological age
NCT ID NCT07385794
First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests a personalized exercise and physiotherapy program designed for teens aged 14 to 15. Instead of using age alone, the program is tailored to each teen's biological maturity to reduce injury risk. Researchers will measure strength, balance, and body composition before and after 12 weeks of the program. The goal is to create a prevention system that can be used in schools and sports to keep teens healthy.
