First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study aims to personalize breast radiotherapy by matching each patient's treatment to their individual risk of cancer returning and their risk of side effects. Researchers will enroll 854 women with invasive breast cancer who need radiation after surgery. The goal is to see if this tailored approach can reduce long-term side effects like fibrosis and radiation-induced sarcoma while still controlling the cancer.
