First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study aims to personalize breast radiotherapy by matching radiation dose and technique to each patient's risk of cancer returning and risk of side effects. About 854 women with invasive breast cancer who have had surgery will receive a customized radiation plan. The goal is to reduce long-term side effects like fibrosis and radiation-induced sarcoma while still controlling the cancer.
