First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests a new, personalized brain stimulation method for people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Using AI and real-time brain readings, the device customizes electrical pulses to target each person's specific memory-related brain areas. Ten participants will receive the treatment alongside computer-based memory training over 6-8 weeks. The goal is to see if this low-cost, non-invasive approach can improve learning and memory, and potentially be used at home.
