New hope for burn victims: study targets eye-area scarring

Summary

This study compares two treatments to prevent scarring and speed healing after burns around the eyes. Ten adults with second-degree or milder periorbital burns will receive either an injection of medication under the skin or a special eye ointment. The goal is to see which approach leads to faster recovery, fewer infections, and less pain.
