First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a daily drink made from perch essence could improve thinking and memory in people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Fifty-four adults aged 45 and older with MCI were split into two groups: one drank perch essence twice a day for 24 weeks, and the other drank a similar-tasting fish stock. Researchers measured changes in cognitive tests, blood markers, and nutrition to see if the perch essence had any benefit.
