NCT ID NCT07179094
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special mouthwash made with peppermint oil can help reduce nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite caused by chemotherapy in people with blood cancers. About 72 adults will be split into two groups: one gets the peppermint mouthwash plus standard care, the other gets standard care only. Researchers will track symptoms for six days after chemo to see if the peppermint rinse makes a difference.
