New hope for rare sarcomas: drug combo enters human testing
NCT ID NCT05711615
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This early-phase trial tests a new two-drug combination for people with advanced soft tissue sarcomas that have spread or can't be removed by surgery. The study combines a standard chemotherapy (liposomal doxorubicin) with an experimental drug (peposertib) that may help the chemo work better. About 30 adults will take part to find the safest dose and see if the combination can shrink tumors or slow their growth.
