Could a common drug ease rheumatoid arthritis?

Summary
This study tests whether pentoxifylline, an anti-inflammatory drug, can help control rheumatoid arthritis. About 50 adults with active arthritis who are already on standard medications will receive pentoxifylline. The main goal is to see if it lowers disease activity scores.
