Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether pentoxifylline, a drug that reduces inflammation, can lower the rewarding effects of cocaine. Thirty adults with cocaine use disorder who are not seeking treatment will take the drug and then choose between cocaine or money in a controlled setting. The goal is to see if the drug reduces how often they pick cocaine.
