Could two common drugs reverse jaw bone death?

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of two drugs, pentoxifylline and tocopherol (a form of vitamin E), can help heal exposed bone in the jaw caused by medications for osteoporosis or cancer. About 100 adults with stage 1-3 medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw will receive either standard care plus the drug combo or standard care alone. The main goal is to see if the drug combo reduces the size of the exposed bone area after one year.
