First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study compares a nerve block (PENG block) to spinal morphine for pain control after total hip replacement. About 180 adults having hip surgery will receive one of the two treatments. The goal is to see which method provides better pain relief, reduces the need for extra painkillers, and leads to fewer side effects.
