New combo therapy aims to boost immune attack on metastatic breast cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab, with or without the targeted drug olaparib, to standard radiation therapy is safe and effective for people with metastatic breast cancer. The goal is to see if these combinations can shrink tumors better than radiation alone. About 34 adults with triple-negative or hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer will take part.
