First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested a combination of two drugs, pembrolizumab and fulvestrant, in 47 people with advanced or metastatic hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. The goal was to see if the combination could shrink tumors or keep them stable for at least four months. The approach uses immunotherapy to help the immune system fight cancer while blocking hormones that fuel tumor growth.
