First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tested the drug pembrolizumab in 35 people with cancer of unknown primary (CUP), a cancer that starts in an unknown location. The goal was to see if the drug could shrink tumors. Participants received pembrolizumab intravenously, and doctors measured tumor response using CT scans. The trial found that some patients had their tumors shrink or stabilize, but it is not a cure and ongoing management is needed.
