New drug cocktail shows promise against rare kidney cancer

Summary
This study tests whether giving two drugs (pembrolizumab and enfortumab vedotin) before and after surgery can improve outcomes for people with high-risk upper tract urothelial cancer. About 21 adults will receive the drugs before having their kidney and ureter removed, then continue one drug after surgery. The goal is to shrink the tumor before surgery and prevent the cancer from coming back afterward.
