Immunotherapy before surgery shows promise for aggressive uterine cancer
NCT ID NCT06180733
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab before standard hysterectomy can shrink tumors in people with a specific type of uterine cancer (MMRd). Twelve participants will receive 9 cycles of pembrolizumab, then have surgery as planned. The goal is to see how many achieve a major response in the tumor tissue, which could lead to a larger trial comparing this approach to standard care.
