New study tests which therapy helps stroke patients walk better

Summary
This study will compare two physical therapy techniques—pelvic proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and multiplanar trunk training—to see which one better improves balance and walking ability in people who have had a stroke. The study plans to enroll 48 adults who are at least six months past their first stroke and can walk a short distance with or without help. Participants will be assessed using balance and mobility tests before and after the therapy sessions.
