New study tests which therapy helps stroke survivors walk better

Summary

This study compares two physical therapy approaches—pelvic proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and multiplanar trunk training—to see which better improves balance and functional mobility in people who have had a stroke. The trial will involve 48 adults who had a stroke at least six months ago and can walk short distances with help. Participants will be assessed using standard balance and mobility tests.
