New surgery aims to fix pelvic organ prolapse in women

Summary
This study tests a new surgical method to treat pelvic organ prolapse, a condition where pelvic organs drop from their normal position. Ten women having a hysterectomy will receive a special type of suspension using their own ligaments. The goal is to see if this technique improves prolapse stage.
