First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study follows 380 women for one year after vaginal childbirth to see how pelvic floor muscles and tissues recover. It also tests whether early, personalized pelvic floor muscle training can improve symptoms like urine leakage, bowel issues, and vaginal bulging compared to standard care. Participants complete questionnaires, physical exams, and ultrasounds at several visits.
