First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests a mobile app called PeerOnCall that lets firefighters privately connect with peers for support and access wellness resources. About 2,000 Canadian firefighters will use the app for one year. Researchers want to see if adding weekly reminders and feedback helps more firefighters use the app and whether using it improves mental health and job performance.
