App and buddy system aim to boost testing in hidden rural communities

Summary
This study aims to see if combining peer support with a mobile health app helps more people in rural Appalachia get tested and use services for HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and Hepatitis C. It focuses on men who have sex with men and transgender women in the region. Researchers will compare an immediate support group to a group that gets the support later to measure changes in testing and care use.
