Robot-Assisted surgeries in kids: a new study tracks outcomes
NCT ID NCT07438704
First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study will review the medical records of 100 children under 18 who had robotic surgery for digestive, urinary, gynecologic, or chest problems at Meyer Children's Hospital in 2025. The goal is to see how often complications happen within 30 days after surgery, and to track recovery, pain, and any return of the original condition up to a year later. No new treatments are being tested—this is purely an observation to learn more about the safety and results of robotic surgery in children.
