Summary
This study tested a fun question-and-answer game, called the Pediatric Quiz Game, to help reduce anxiety in children during dental treatment. Eighty children aged 4 to 8 who had never been to the dentist took part. The game was designed to distract and engage kids, making them feel more in control and less scared. Researchers measured anxiety and pain levels using several child-friendly scales.
