First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested whether 10 weeks of moderate or intense exercise could improve overall brain health and lower blood pressure in adults aged 35-65 with hypertension and a BMI of 25 or higher. Participants used smartphone apps to track workouts and had their brain care score, blood pressure, and eye blood vessels measured. The goal was to see if exercise intensity makes a difference in reducing hypertension's effects on the brain.
