First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested a combination of chemotherapy (nab-paclitaxel) and immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) given before surgery to 32 people with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. The main goal was to see if this treatment changes a biomarker called PD-L1 in the tumor. Researchers also looked at how many patients had no cancer left at surgery (pathologic complete response).
