Summary

This study looked at 60 teenage girls with PCOS and obesity. They either took a weekly injection of semaglutide (a diabetes/weight-loss drug) or followed a special diet for 12 weeks. The goal was to see which approach better reduced liver fat and improved how the body uses insulin. The study is complete, but results are not yet published.
