New hope for controlling debilitating constant urge to urinate

NCT ID NCT05190744

Summary

This study tested whether an oral medication called PB could help reduce excessive urine production and make urine more concentrated in adults with specific kidney conditions. It involved 36 adults who produce very large amounts of urine daily due to inherited conditions, polycystic kidney disease treatment, or past lithium use. The goal was to see if PB could ease the burden of constant urination and improve patients' quality of life.
